What kinds of websites can you make?
WordPress is the development program I primarily use when creating websites. The limitations are dependent to what can be found as plugins and be coded in PHP. Using a plugin is the more affordable and quicker of the options. This web development tool, wordpress, doesn’t work on every hosting provider. So, keep that in mind when paying for a hosting site. Also, wordpress website are easy to maintain, edit, and expand later. Therefore you don’t have to hire someone to change or add text to your website, saving you money in the long run.
What do you need from me?
Firstly, you will need to have server hosting with wordpress installed or ready for installation. You can get this from places like GoDaddy and Host Gator as examples. Make sure that the server hosting provider sets you up with a linux server to decrease loading issues. I will also need your login and password. This is so that I can get to the files on that hosting server, for coding purposes. Secondly, you will need a domain name. Domain is the web address (ex: www.somesitename.com) which is required in order for your customers to get to your website.
Once I have wordpress installed, I will need to know what your looking for in a website. What kind of things you need your site to accomplish and what you want to have available for visitors.
How long does it take?
The more information given by you, the faster it will take to complete. If you are in a rush, I can have a working website within a week. Rush orders come at additional cost. The more custom work, the longer your website will take to complete. (Edits and additions: A website is completed when the site as everything outlined in the quote. Anything that is added afterwards is at extra cost and will be reflected in the final invoice.)
